Hey party people! My name is Taylor Larson, and I am a Physical Education Teaching/Coaching major here at BYU! I am very passionate about teaching and what it has done for my life and others' lives as well! I can't wait to help others find their passion for teaching and help it grow as well.

I am originally from San Diego, California, and lived there for 16 years. But for my senior year of high school, we decided to move halfway across the country to Bentonville, Arkansas. I love everything about Arkansas: the hikes, the sunsets, the greenery, and Walmart! I am the youngest of four kids, and the sibling closest to my age is 11 years older than me!

I am a huge sports fan, whether it's volleyball, football, tennis, pickleball, soccer, etc. You name it, I have most likely played it! I am also an avid BYU fan and have been since day 1! I got three college offers to go play collegiate volleyball but chose BYU the second I got accepted, so BYU, you're welcome!

I love fro-yo, volleyball, dogs/all animals, the beach, bows, Christmas, singing, and everything pink! After playing competitive volleyball for 10 years, I strive to play as much as I can with intramurals, open gyms, and getting together with friends and setting up a net. Meeting new people is one of my favorite things in life, and I can't wait to meet everybody with the new PETE ambassador opportunity!

I have coached freshmen girls' volleyball, varsity boys' volleyball, and most recently, a youth recreational volleyball league for girls ages 12–13! I have been involved in student council every year of high school, served as a Young Women's Mia Maid class president, been the captain of my varsity volleyball team, and helped lead freshmen during orientation and throughout the school year. I have had plenty of other opportunities like these that have allowed me to teach and lead others. I have always known I wanted to be a teacher, especially since every member of my family is a teacher! Teaching, especially Physical Education and Volleyball, has been some of the most fun I have had since being a student and playing sports myself.

The inspiration that keeps me going is seeing other people smile. As a teacher, I get to help others grow to love what I am teaching and watch them smile when they notice their own improvements. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life serving others, teaching them new things, and seeing them smile each day! I am so grateful I got accepted to the best university with the best major to continue my education and help me become the best teacher I can be for my future students and athletes!
