Did you know that the BYU McKay School of Education produces a podcast with special guests, airing a new episode almost every month? The podcast is available to stream on all platforms including Spotify and Apple Podcasts. In each episode, educational research is presented and discussed in an interview with different scholars sharing what they have learned.
The aim of the Seek Learning Podcast is to provide valuable information and insights into the world of education in the homes of Latter-day Saint families to help in their professions, homes, and gospel living. The podcast has hosted several special guests from BYU, including Russell T. Osguthorpe, Casey Paul Griffiths, Paul Ricks, Tina Taylor and others. Topics like the communication gap and aphasia, gun violence in schools, girls with autism, SEEL, children's literature, and teaching with Pinterest are addressed. Each episode is typically 30-40 minutes in length.
Doctrine and Covenants 88:118 says, “And as all have not faith, seek ye diligently and teach one another words of wisdom; yea, seek ye out of the best books words of wisdom,” the Lord commanded, “seek learning, even by study and also by faith.”
