But what about the pay? Maybe you've been asked this question or maybe it's one you've asked yourself. Maybe you want to go into education, but are nervous about the pay and your future. The great news is that teacher pay is on the rise and is predicted to continue to do so.
Here is data from the National Education Association website comparing the starting teacher salary of 2023 to the starting teacher salary of 2025 for each state. If you'd like to learn more click on the links below the graph.

This is also the starting teacher salary which means as you gain experience, your salary will continue to increase. Outside of salary, there are a hand-full of benefits for teachers that make an exponential difference with finances.
