Hello and welcome to another post in our classroom set-up series! Previously we have shown you BYU Elementary Education Alumni, Alyssa Crabb, and her classroom. Today, we want to show you a different classroom from Taylon Mann, a BYU Elementary Education Intern.
Not only does Taylon show us his classroom in this video, but he also explains why he made different set-up decisions! Taylon discusses the importance of seating arrangements, how to incorporate opportunities for class engagement, make your classroom reflect your personality, set-up your room to ease transitions, and manage the volume level in a classroom with decorations.
One important thing to note is that this is just the beginning of Taylon's journey! He even said himself that this is not how his classroom will look in 3 or so years. As teachers, we are constantly changing and growing, and your classroom will too!
