About Jasmin
"I'm majoring in elementary education with a minor in TESOL and I am from Washington State."
Why Minor in TESOL?
"I decided to minor in TESOL because it is important to help minorities in school. My dad is from Guatemala and wasn't able to finish and graduate because he didn't have the help he needed to be able to thrive in school. I want to help students like my dad to be able to know their worth and succeed in life."
Biggest Impact on the BYU Experience
"Being able to go to a college where everyone around me shares the same beliefs has made a big impact on my college career. I am better able to see the Lord's hand in my life and know that I am doing what I am supposed to be doing."
